Roy's plans to walk the South West Coast Path in 2001 were destroyed by the Foot & Mouth outbreak and closure of all footpaths. Time was not wasted - the lad found new talents and lovingly layered a 60 yard long beech hedge.
The hedge, mainly FAGUS Sylvatica (Green Beech), surrounds a 16th Century farmhouse which has Saxon flint foundations.
The task was completed in eight days. Orders for further hedge work accepted for winter 2002/2003.
